24 Week Bumpdate

Pardon the sleepy eyes.. Catching up from travel took some time :)
Also, thanks Hannah for the cool new shirt!
Total Weight Gain: 11 lbs
Symptoms: Every. single. day I wake up with a stuffed nose.
Size of the baby: 11.75 inches head to toe and somewhere around a pound and a third.
Sleep: Needing lots right now. I don't exactly bounce back as quickly from short nights..
Best Moment Last Week: Getting to travel with Joseph and the health coaches on my team to California for a great conference. We roomed with some friends who's little man is 16 months, and I'm more excited than ever to meet our little lady!
Movement: Getting stronger, sharper, and more frequent. (Including rib shots) Does this girl ever sleep?
Cravings: Still soups. Broccoli Cauliflower Cheddar is on the top of the want list. A close second is a bran muffin. I've been holding out on this one for a week. I even woke up from sleeping last night smelling muffins! Hilarious!
What I Miss: Feeling satisfied. It's like I'm hungry or stuffed. There is no in-between.
What am I looking forward to: I have a few friends having baby showers coming up in the next couple weeks, and I'm so excited to celebrate with my mommy-to-be friends!
Milestones: Evelyn can hear music and voices enough to actually recognize them at birth!

How is Daddy? Talking lots to our little Miss. And he bought me the cutest diaper bag. And he also bought himself a few guns to protect his girls ;)

22 Week Bumpdate

22 Weeks
Total Weight Gain: 8 lbs
Symptoms: Not really much, just lots of wiggles in there.
Size of the baby: About 11 inches head to toe and a whole pound!
Sleep: Still fighting the night owl tendencies, but when I exercise in the day it's so much easier to get to bed early.
Best Moment Last Week: I got to shopping for some of Evelyn's room things. I think I've got it in my head what it will look like. And, we've been given some really beautiful hand me downs from my cousins. It's starting to feel more real!
Movement: Oodles. We've got a good mover :)
Cravings: Soups- even with this hot weather- lol
What I Miss: Being able to hike up hills without getting out of breath..
What am I looking forward to: Going to California next week for national training for health coaching. I'm well equipped with cool dresses to get me through.
Milestones: Eyelashes are growing this week. Please let's gather together to pray that this girl gets her daddy's eyelashes!!
How is Daddy? Working so hard at his new job. I'm so glad he love it!

21 Week Bumpdate and Gender Reveal Party

The last two weeks have been so full of joy getting to find out and then share the news that we are carrying a little lady! We've been so busy, we skipped a week of info, though. Check out the fun below.

Total Weight Gain: 6 lbs. Looks like me and my little girl had a growth spurt the last two weeks
Symptoms: So hungry. Constantly making myself stop and challenge whether it's a mouth craving or a stomach need. I pretty much feel like this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nMf_2lUXBFs
Size of the baby: 7 inches crown to rump and 11 oz- Also, the baby tastes what I taste, so here's to green smoothies!
Sleep: Oh my word- best sleep of my life last night! Sleeping peacefully and waking up rested is such a gift!
Best Moment Last Week: Finding out that we are having a little girl!
Movement: Getting stronger as more cartilage gives way to bone. The most is at night as I'm falling asleep. But last night we had a first "holy cow what organ did she just jab?!" moment. :)n
Cravings: Popcorn. Been thinking about this one for a couple weeks now. Here's my craving tactic- every day I tell myself I can go one more day without x. So far, it's been effective in keeping me focused on healthy foods!
What I Miss: Not needing to pack around snacks with me everywhere. And being able to lay on my stomach on the floor.
What am I looking forward to: Planning out this little nursery
Milestones: I think the pictures will speak for this one.
How is Daddy? Pretty excited to now have an even better reason to buy a couple guns ;)

So many fun guests!

The watermelon was filled with either strawberries for a girl or blueberries for a boy.

Strawberries! It's a GIRL: Evelyn Collette Wright

We were majorly surprised by the sweet gifts some people just couldn't resist bringing ;)

Thanks to everyone who was able to come out and celebrate with us!
